Corn grist POLENTA “Naturalisimo“ (Gluten Free) – 750 g

Naturalisimo Polenta is a gluten free corn grits that are made by grinding corn into flour or meal. It has a slightly sweet flavour and is a rich yellow colour. Polenta is a very popular Italian food and is often used in place of products that contain gluten.

It makes a great side in place of pasta, rice or potatoes. It can be cooked to be creamy and thick or it can be allowed to set and then sliced. It can also be used in place of breadcrumbs on breaded chicken when frying. It can also be used in home baking for cakes, pastries and biscuits. To add extra flavour to this naturally gluten free flour, cheese, pepper or butter can be added.

How to cook? Corn grist POLENTA

Porridge garnish for 4 people:

  • Boil 400 ml of water
  • Add 1 tea spoon of salt
  • Pour 200 g of corn grits and boil for 5 minutes with low stirring

Season to taste with olive oil, butter or hard cheese. Enjoy! 😊
